“My husband hired Marisa for our surprise engagement. The photos were stunning. As it was a surprise I had no idea Marisa and Steven were even there. The shoot turned out amazing! We of course wanted to hire Marisa for our wedding.
Leading up to the wedding Marisa stayed in constant contact with us and asked questions in great detail to better help her and Steven get the all of the shots, angles, and special requests we had. The day of the wedding they arrived earlier than the agreed upon start time to scope out the best locations for the shoot.
They made us feel so comfortable and told us to speak up if we wanted to make any adjustments. The whole day went so smooth and we are forever grateful for the photos they took. Everyone said it felt like they weren’t even there shooting while everyone was celebrating!

“Working with Marisa for our engagement and wedding photos was truly one of the highlights of our wedding! I can’t say enough about how amazing she was to work with. She was super organized and easy to stay in touch with, and after spending an evening with her and her second shooter, Steve, for our engagement photos, we knew we had truly lucked out on finding such a friendly and talented photographer! “ I came across Marisa’s page from an old friend of mine from high school. I am SO insanely happy I did because I really feel like I hit the lottery finding Marisa. Being a nervous bride-to-be, I messaged her and shortly after she responded which is when my hundreds of questions came filing in. She so patiently, in depth, and with such a positive attitude answered and eased every single one of my questions and concerns. Marisa quickly went from a stranger to a friend, and after everything aligned (MANY phone calls from my fiancé and I, more questions, her sending me a multitude of her work, etc) we booked Marisa for our May 2019 wedding, and she just recently took our engagement photos and returned all of the edited photos. “Marisa was an amazing person to work with for our wedding. She was so patient and easy-going with the insanity and chaos happening throughout the day. She was so professional and kind with everyone in the wedding. I appreciated her scoping out places to take photos and improvising when we had weather issues (it was so humid). Marisa treated us like we were her friends rather than as clients, like she really cared about us as people in addition to her work. Communication was a breeze, she was always thorough and very responsive whenever we had questions. And this doesn’t even begin to cover her photography from our wedding. Every photo was bright and beautiful, and they captured our emotions as vividly as she captured the colors of our Hindu ceremony. She complimented the bright colors with pastels and black and white images, which were all equally stunning. We also had a second photographer for our wedding who was equally fantastic and great to work with. He worked with the guys to get some wonderfully creative and hilarious shots. Marisa put together our photo album tastefully, capturing every moment from getting ready to the very last dances. It was a perfect combination of colors, emotions, and action.
